According to the Humane Society of the United States, an estimated 6 to 8
million dogs and cats are brought to shelters every year, about half of
which are euthanized. And the foreclosure crisis is pushing those
numbers even higher.
Picasso's Colour Studio accepts donations of blankets (non-stuffed please),
towels, and toys. If you would like to
donate any of these items, please drop them off at the salon and we will make sure they get into the hands of worthy animal
rescue organizations in our community.
John Paul Pet is dedicated to the proper care of all pets
and we actively support outreach programs that enrich the lives of all
animals worldwide.

JP Pet of the Month: Winston
In April 2010, the Riverside County Animal Services rescued a little white dog from a catch basin near a Winco store in Hemet. Cindy Bleier, owner of Picasso's Colour Studio in Riverside, agreed to foster the little terrier-mix but finally succumbed to his charms and formally adopted him, making Winston the first dog to be adopted from the county's new facility on Van Buren in Riverside.
Since his adoption, Winston has become quite the connoisseur of the John Paul Pet product line. His favorites are the Super Bright Shampoo, which leaves his fur clean, bright and white; the Instant Detangling Spray, which makes brushing ouchless; and the Ear & Eye Wipes, which are gentle for cleaning those sensitive areas. No longer homeless, Winston is now a dapper little dog of leisure!
